Welcome to Temple Shalom of Norwalk, CT

Founded in 1963, Temple Shalom of Norwalk, CT is an open and welcoming Reform Jewish community with a diverse array of congregants from over ten different communities throughout Fairfield County, Connecticut and Westchester County, New York.

Our congregation is passionately committed to exciting its members about Judaism, through a unique musical atmosphere, engaging educational opportunities for children and adults alike and a variety of programs aimed at sustaining and building both our local community and the broader world we live in. We embrace life at Temple Shalom and urge our members to find areas of our tradition that speak personally to them and help them to find fulfillment.  We encourage you to browse our website to learn more about us.

From the Jewish World
From Our Congregants

"Temple Shalom has been a second home for us for the past twelve years. The Temple is welcoming, and the Rabbis and Cantor make the services not only meaningful, but also enjoyable; even my kids like to go!" - Erica and Matthew, New Canaan, CT

"All of our kids are musically inclined so we initially came to Temple Shalom for the music.  We have stayed because the Temple offers a beautiful way to appreciate Judaism at its roots." - David and Erika, Westport, CT
