Study at Temple Shalom

V'talmud Torah C'neged Culam....

"And the study of Torah leads to them all."   This statement from our morning liturgy claims that the study of Torah (meaning any Jewish learning) leads us to do the commandments.  It was the hope of our ancestors that studying would excite us to act out in the world and live life to its fullest.  At Temple Shalom, there are a variety of ways to study our tradition.   Our building houses the ever-increasing Shirley Jacob Lantz Library, where you can find the newest Jewish books and classic Jewish books from our past.   Our children are introduced to our tradition in our Pre-School program, throughout Religious School until sixth grade, and during our Bar and Bat Mitzvah program in seventh grade.  Our children eventually learn in a much more informal atmosphere in our Sunday Hebrew Chai program.  Adult Education includes our Saturday morning Torah Study group, speakers and a variety of classes taught by our clergy throughout the year.
