A NIGHT AT THE RACES – HOW IT WORKS

HORSE RACE ENTRIES
Each Gala ticket includes eight (8) horse race entries - one for each of the eight races streamed on the big screen. Each race features eight horses, and each of your entries allows you to bet on one horse per race. Additional entries will be available for purchase at the Gala.

HOW TO PLAY
A live track announcer will call each race and explain the rules throughout the evening.

It’s simple: eight horses compete in each race. Before each race, you’ll place one entry (½ of a double raffle ticket) into one of eight containers - one container for each horse.

You may use all eight of your entries on a single race or spread them out across multiple races. Additional entries will be available for purchase, allowing you to bet on as many horses and races as you’d like.

At the end of each race, the winning horse is announced, and all tickets from the losing horses’ containers are pooled and divided evenly among those who bet on the winning horse.

PRIZES
At the end of the evening the three attendees that have the most raffle tickets will win one of the three top prizes.
The winning isn’t over yet! You can enter any remaining raffle tickets into our Mystery Raffle for a chance to win “mystery” prizes valued from $5 to $50.

NO CASH PRIZES
In accordance with Connecticut law, there will be no actual cash distributed in any of the horse races. The only actual cash prize for the evening will be from the 50/50 raffle.
