Due to the privacy guidelines of HIPPA laws, Temple Shalom is no longer automatically notified when one of our members is in the hospital. We want to hear from you! Please call the Temple Office at 203-866-0148 if you would like one of our clergy to come for a hospital or home visit, or if you would like to be contacted by our Caring Committee.

We offer the opportunity for our congregants to place names of loved ones who are ill on our "Misheberach" list for healing. These names are read publicly at our weekly Shabbat services and a prayer for healing is recited on their behalf. If you would like to place someone on the Misheberach list, please call the Temple Shalom office.
